In this video, I guide you through the process of connecting your domain to enhance your online presence. We'll navigate through the steps of adding the www version, authorizing the domain, and utilizing the Lead Domain Connector for seamless integration. Stay tuned for a demonstration on pointing and adding a CNAME record. Action: Follow along to optimize your domain setup!

Where to find it

Go to Settings > Domains & URL Redirects. From here you can buy a new domain, transfer one in, or click Connect a domain to use one you already own.

Choose what the domain is for

Pick what you're connecting: Funnel/Website/Store/Blog/Webinar, AI Studio, Email, WordPress, Client Portal or Branded Domain. Most tax pros start with Funnel/Website for their main site, then add a subdomain such as mail.yourdomain.com for email.

Add the DNS records

Type your domain and click Continue. TRM shows the exact DNS records to add. If your registrar supports it, TRM can add them for you after you sign in. If not, log in to your registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace and so on), add the records exactly as shown, then come back and verify. Connect both yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com so visitors land on your site either way. DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours.

Put your site live on the domain

Once the domain shows as connected, open your website or funnel, go to its Settings and select the domain so your pages go live on it. Use the URL Redirects tab to send old links to new pages.
